After a dominant 131-111 win in Game One, the Philadelphia 76ers hope to take a commanding lead as they host the Toronto Raptors in Game Two of the first round of the NBA Playoffs at 7:30 PM EST on Monday, April 16th.

Absolutely nothing went right for Toronto, and things went from bad to worse quickly as they will likely be without three crucial role players.

It's going to require a herculean effort from Pascal Siakam and Fred VanVleet to emerge victorious in Game Two, but the Raptors have excelled with their backs against the wall all season.

Can Toronto pull a rabbit out of their hat to tie the series or will the Sixers blow them out at home once again?

Let's check out the odds from WynnBET to help pick a winner in this Raptors vs 76ers matchup:

Raptors vs. 76ers Prediction and Pick

The story of Game One was Tyrese Maxey eviscerating the Raptors' defense en route to 38 points, but the biggest takeaway heading into Game Two was the Sixers' performance at the charity stripe.

Philadelphia had a whopping 34 free throw attempts, making 29 of them, as they were fouled 26 times by Toronto. With Barnes, Trent Jr., and Young all questionable, the Raptors won't have the necessary depth to keep up if they get into foul trouble again.

And well, when you don't have a single player on your roster anywhere close to Joel Embiid's size, it's going to be difficult to avoid fouling. The Raptors' vaunted defense was shredded by the Sixers and while I have faith in Nick Nurse to turn things around, I don't think it's going to come in Game Two.

Simply put, Toronto's advantage comes in their depth and versatility. Missing one defensive cog would be troublesome enough, but losing three role players is disastrous.

Philly should take care of business at home before going to Toronto where things will get interesting. Doc Rivers is the most notorious lead-blower in NBA history, and the pressure will be sky-high on the Sixers to get things done if they do go up 2-0. I'll be looking to make a series bet on the Raptors if that's the case, but I don't see them hanging with Philadelphia without their roster at full strength.

Pick: 76ers -7 (-108)
