Raptors vs. Lakers Prediction and Odds (Fade Lakers After Sunday's Blowout Loss)
By Peter Dewey
The Toronto Raptors will carry their three-game winning streak into Monday’s matchup with the struggling Los Angeles Lakers, who have won just three of their last 10 games and were blown out by the Phoenix Suns on Sunday night.
The Lakers gave up 140 points in their loss to Phoenix, and they are now 5.5 games out of the No. 8 seed in the Western Conference, which likely means they’ll need to win two play-in games to make the postseason.
Let’s get into the odds for this game via WynnBET:
Raptors vs. Lakers Odds, Spread and Total
Spread:
- Raptors -5 (-110)
- Lakers +5 (-110)

Raptors vs. Lakers Prediction and Pick
I will not touch the Lakers in this matchup, even though they are 5-3 against the spread in the second game of a back-to-back this season.
Toronto has picked up three straight solid wins, beating the Suns, Denver Nuggets and San Antonio Spurs, and it should have Fred VanVleet (questionable) in the lineup after he sat out the team’s win over Denver.
The Lakers simply cannot be trusted this season, as they are playing the league’s No. 24 offense and No. 17 defense, while the Raptors are 14th in both categories.
LeBron James has been playing extremely well lately, but one has to wonder if Los Angeles rests him in this spot as he’s been dealing with a nagging knee injury.
Lean: Raptors -5 (-110)
