Ravens vs. Buccaneers Best Prop Bets for Thursday Night Football
With the Ravens coming off a win and the Buccaneers looking for one to stay atop the NFC South, Week 8’s edition of Thursday Night Football will be an interesting one.
Baltimore has a winning record, but hasn’t looked convincing in its recent wins, and Tampa Bay seems close to falling apart. BetSided has you covered with a preview for this game, but let’s look at it through a different lens.
Let’s dissect it from the prop market.
Best Prop Bets For Ravens-Buccaneers
- Tom Brady OVER 279.5 Passing Yards (-115)
- Lamar Jackson OVER 1.5 Passing Touchdowns (+110)
- Gus Edwards OVER 44.5 Rushing Yards (-115)
Tom Brady OVER 279.5 Passing Yards (-115)
Even in a 21-3 blowout, Brady cleared this line. He’s surpassed it in three of his last four games. The Buccaneers lead the league in passing play percentage at 67.4%. That number skyrockets to 77.72% when they play at home – which they are this week. It’s clear the Bucs need to pass the ball because of their offensive line’s deficiencies. Brady’s over seems a matter of when rather than if this week.
Lamar Jackson OVER 1.5 Touchdowns (+110)
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the MVP version of Lamar Jackson.
He hasn’t thrown two touchdown passes in a game in a month, but this is a good time to back him. The Buccaneers have let Kenny Pickett, Mitch Trubisky and P.J. Walker dime them up over the last two weeks. Lamar Jackson will be able to add to that list, especially with Mark Andrews looking for a bounce back game.
Gus Edwards OVER Rushing Yards
Edwards stepped right back into the rotation and became a workhorse back. Baltimore gave him 16 carries in his return. The opportunities are going to be there from a play calling standpoint. Also, the Buccaneers’ run defense has been shaky in the last three weeks. Opportunity and a struggling defense is a perfect recipe for success on Edwards’ part.
