Ravens vs. Buccaneers Best Same Game Parlay Picks for Thursday Night Football
By Josh Yourish
How is it Week 8 already? We are nearly halfway through the season and it’s not slowing down for anyone.
This week the NFL has finally given us a treat on Thursday Night Football as Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens match up vs. Tom Brady and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Brady and the Bucs have looked lost offensively despite assembling top tier talent around him. Could this finally be the end of his run as a Super Bowl caliber quarterback?
I sure hope so, and we can get in on all the action with a Same Game Parlay, but first, let's take a look at the latest odds.
Ravens vs. Buccaneers Odds, Spread and Total
Best Thursday Night Football Same Game Parlay for Ravens vs. Bucs
- Ravens 1st Half Moneyline (-106) vs. Buccaneers
- Tom Brady Over 24.5 Completions (-128)
- Gus Edwards Over 46.5 Rush Yards (-113)
Ravens 1st Half Moneyline (+110) vs. Buccaneers (3-Way No Push)
The Baltimore offense has had its problems this season, but those problems have rarely come up in the first half of games.
The Ravens are the sixth highest scoring team in the first half this season averaging 15.0 points. The Buccaneers have not only struggled in their past two games, but their offense has looked especially laborious in the first half of games all season. They are 29th in first half scoring with only 7.7 points on average.
I fully expect Baltimore to get out to a lead in this one.
Tom Brady Over 275.5 Passing Yards (-110)
The interior of the Tampa Bay offensive line has been a disaster following the departures of Alex Cappa and Ali Marpet, to Cincinnati and retirement respectively, and the injury to Ryan Jensen. Luke Godeke, Robert Hainsey, and Shaq Mason have not been nearly as effective and the Bucs have been unable to move the ball on the ground.
Leonard Fournette ran the ball eight times for 19 yards against Carolina last week. This team needs to throw the ball to have any chance of moving it.
I don’t think their offense will be any good tonight, but I do expect Brady to complete a lot of passes.
Gus Edwards Over 46.5 Rush Yards (-113)
The Gus Bus is back.
Last week, Edwards ran the ball 16 times for 66 yards and clearly looked like the best guy in the Baltimore backfield (Outside of Lamar Jackson of course). J.K. Dobbins is on IR and that means Edwards usage will only continue to climb in the weeks to come.
Tampa Bay hasn't looked particularly stout against the run like they have in years past, and Edwards will take advantage.
Parlay Odds: +462
