As our own Iain MacMillan notes, things are going swimmingly in Baltimore's sports scene right now. The Batlimore Orioles are on fire and making a push for a playoff spot, while the Baltimore Ravens happen to be the single-greatest preseason team in the history of the NFL.

You think I'm kidding? I'm not. The Ravens covered the spread in 26 of their last 30 preseason games and haven't lost in the preseason since Barack Obama was President. And he still had 16 months left.

Baltimore's otherworldly preseason excellence will be put to the test this week against an Arizona Cardinals squad that looked electric in Week 1's win over the Bengals. Can the Ravens keep it going or will Arizona play spoiler?

Let's take a look at the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to help find out:

  • Cardinals +6.0 (-110)

Ravens vs Cardinals Prediction and Pick

In case President Obama having 16 months left in his term the last time Baltimore lost in the preseason didn't drive the point home, do you know who won the Super Bowl that season?

Peyton friggin' Manning and the Denver Broncos. That was an eternity ago!

Baltimore hasn't been favored by six in any game during this stretch, but the Ravens won nine of their last 10 by at least six anyway. Thus, the large spread doesn't scare me.

John Harbaugh is an incredible coach. Kliff Kingsbury is mediocre at best, and a buffoon at worst. With advantages on both sides of the ball and under the headset, it's Baltimore's game to lose.

The Ravens are keeping this magical streak going this week and I'm thrilled to watch Tyler Huntley carve up this Cardinals defense.

Pick: Ravens -6.0 (-110)
