The Miami Dolphins shocked the league tonight by beating the 6-2 Baltimore Ravens. The Dolphins had a stifling defensive game plan and didn't allow a touchdown until the final five minutes of the fourth quarter. With the win, Miami moves to 3-7 on the season and gets to celebrate a mini-winning streak.

Every game is more than just the final score, so here are the biggest winners and losers from Week 10's edition of Thursday Night Football.

Winners

Miami Dolphins Defense

Miami hasn't been the toughest defense to play against this season, but it planned and executed a perfect game plan against the Ravens. Coming into tonight's game, Miami was near the bottom in nearly every category. The Dolphins gave up 304 yards, but a mere 10 points in the win.

The trajectory of Miami's season won't change with this win, but the Dolphins have a signature now and that's all they can ask for.

Tua Tagovailoa's Confidence

Tagovailoa didn't start the game due to his finger injury, but his second half arrival was just what the Dolphins needed. Miami was finally able to put a touchdown on the board to create separation after Tagovailoa entered the game. Moving forward, these are the types of performances he needs to prove he can be the quarterback of the future for the Dolphins.

Tagovailoa finished with 158 yards and 1 rushing touchdown.

Losers

Lamar Jackson’s MVP Case

Jackson and the Ravens were dismantled two weeks ago by the Cincinnati Bengals and we gave them a pass. Sometimes it’s just not your day. However, for the second time in three weeks, Jackson wasn’t able to lead the offense to a successful day. The Dolphins were 2-7 going into the game and was 30th in the league in yards allowed.

Jackson finished the game with 238 yards, 1 touchdown and 1 interception. This was supposed to be a game that Jackson and the Ravens dominated from start to finish and they weren’t able to do it. Jackson isn’t out of the race, but he missed a great opportunity to make a statement.

Public Bettors

Over 80% of the moneyline and spread handles were on the Ravens. Nearly all of America thought Baltimore would cruise to another win and instead, money was lost tonight.

For that, the public is tonight's biggest loser.
