The Tampa Bay Rays are streaking right now, and look to get the series win tonight in Seattle.

The Mariners are not having a fun go of things right now. They’ve lost 10 of their last 11 games, moving them down to a 12-15 record.

Can they end their streak and get a good home win today?

Rays vs. Mariners Prediction and Pick

The Rays have the advantage in this game for two reasons. First, they are simply playing better baseball coming into this game. They’ve won eight of the last 10 and five in a row. Secondly, they have the advantage on the mound.

Drew Rasmussen is a better option than Marco Gonzales on the other side. Rasmussen comes off a five-inning performance where he only gave up one hit. He’s given up a total of three hits in his last 11 innings of work.

Meanwhile, Gonzales has given up eight hits and four runs in his last 6.1 innings of work (last two starts). Gonzales faced the Rays two weeks ago and didn’t last an inning.

If Tampa Bay can give Rasmussen a little bit of run support, it will go a long way.

Lean: Rays ML (-135)
