Rays vs. Red Sox Prediction and Odds for Monday, October 3 (Trust Tampa Bay's Pitching Staff)
By Reed Wallach
The Tampa Bay Rays continue to work their star pitcher back into the rotation ahead of a playoff run.
Tyler Glasnow has recovered from Tommy John surgery and is back in the rotation for the Rays, who are hoping to get a boost to their already elite staff. Glasnow makes his second start of the season against the Boston Red Sox, who are simply playing out the season with aging Rich Hill on the mound.
Here are the odds for Monday's series opener between AL East foes:

Rays vs. Red Sox Prediction and Pick
Glasnow pitched three innings in his first start of the year, allowing a solo homer but also striking out three batters in a strong debut. Now, he faces a Red Sox team that has nothing to play for and should be able to put together a nice outing once again as an opener for Tampa Bay.
The former All-Star will hand the ball to an elite bullpen that should keep the runs to a minimum while the Rays offense tees off on the curveball throwing Hill. A lefty, Hill will struggle facing a Rays lineup that is top 10 in batting average against southpaws this season.
The Rays are the superior team and I trust their pitching staff to put together a complete outing and push ahead on the scoreboard against Hill.
