Reds vs. Brewers Prediction and Odds for Tuesday, May 3 (Brewers to Steamroll Pathetic Reds)
By Joe Summers
The 15-8 Milwaukee Brewers host the 3-19 Cincinnati Reds today at 7:40 PM EST in the first game of a three-game tilt.
Cincinnati has been, without question, the worst team in baseball. They've won one time in their last 18 games, which sounds almost impossible. Tyler Mahle is tasked with ending this disastrous stretch, but he's got a 6.45 ERA through five starts and has lost three straight.
Milwaukee, on the other hand, has been one of the better teams in the sport. A loss to the Cubs Sunday snapped a five-game winning streak but they're 11-3 over their previous 14. They'll send Brandon Woodruff to the mound and he's yet to allow a run in two home starts.
Can the Brewers pour it on the disgraceful Reds or will Cincinnati finally show some life?

Reds vs Brewers Prediction and Pick
This is a no-doubt, easy-peasy, slam dunk bet. The Brewers are getting plus money on the run line? Against the Reds? Good googley moogley, it's a wonderful day!
You see, Cincinnati isn't just losing. They're a full-blown laughingstock. In this disgraceful 1-17 stretch they're on, 16 of their losses came by multiple runs. Sixteen! Tyler Mahle gave up seven runs in 3.1 innings in his last road start and he's expected to duel a guy who hasn't allowed a single run in two home starts yet this year? Give me a break.
Brandon Woodruff amassed a 2.31 ERA at home last season and has been even better in Milwaukee so far in 2022. The Reds have the worst OPS in baseball while simultaneously having the worst team ERA. They're going to get clobbered today.
Don't overthink this. Sometimes the heavens open up and the sportsbooks give us a glorious, beautiful opportunity. Today is one of those days. The Brewers steamroll Cincy to get back on track and extend the Reds' disgusting stretch of play.
Pick: Brewers -1.5 (+105)
