The Green Bay Packers are hoping to bring back reigning MVP Aaron Rodgers this offseason, and it appears there will be even more motivation to do so, as the team's confidence in Jordan Love reportedly isn't high.

According to Denver Broncos beat reporter Benjamin Allbright, teams around the NFL know that the Packers don't believe in Love, who was a first-round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.

If Love's trade value is that low, the Packers won't net much for him if Rodgers does return, so it's likely that he would remain on the team as Rodgers' backup next season. However, if Rodgers leaves, that could spell trouble for Green Bay.

Green Bay is currently +1500 at WynnBET Sportsbook to win the Super Bowl in the 2022 season, but that seems to hinge on where Rodgers ends up playing. The Packers' offense struggled mightily in Love's lone start in the 2021 season, and the fact that other teams know the Packers aren't high on him at the moment is extremely concerning.

Losing Rodgers this offseason could also mean that the team loses star wideout Davante Adams who is set to become a free agent. If that's the case, Green Bay would be flanking Love with some subpar weapons on the outside.

There's still time for Love to turn things around and develop into a solid quarterback, but he's not going to get that chance behind Rodgers, and even if he does the team seems to expect that things won't be going smoothly right away.

For bettors looking into NFL futures, it is best to stay away from Green Bay until Rodgers' future is determined, as there is no way the Packers will stay at +1500 with Love under center.
