Rockets vs. Thunder Prediction and Odds: Houston Remains Stuck on the Launch Pad
By Matt De Saro
The Houston Rockets are on an incredible 12-game losing streak and have lost 13 of their first 14 games to start the season. Now, with a 1-13 record, it looks like the Rockets' season has ended before it even started.
Enter the Oklahoma City Thunder, who are in excellent shape at 5-8 when compared with the Rockets. They have won five of their last nine games but are coming off back-to-back losses. In an ironic twist, the only game that the Rockets won this year was against the Thunder in the second game of the season.

Rockets vs. Thunder Prediction and Pick
The Rockets are still looking for their second win of the season and it would be pretty ironic if they beat the Thunder again tonight. However, after watching this team lose by 34-points on Monday to the Grizzlies, I don’t have much hope of that happening. The Rockets might be shorthanded again with Kevin Porter Jr. limited as questionable which won’t help matters.
On the other hand, the Thunder will want revenge for being embarrassed early on by what turned out to be the worst team in the league. OKC’s rookies Jeremiah Robinson-Earl and Josh Giddey look better each game and are beginning to turn things around. This is a great spot for the Thunder to get back on track after losing their last two following a four-game winning streak.
Getting back to Houston, the Rockets are 1-7 against the spread (ATS) in their last eight games. So, they aren’t only losing but they are losing big. File the Rockets under auto-fade until further notice and roll with the Thunder tonight.
Pick: Oklahoma Thunder -3.5 (-110)
