The Colorado Rockies handedly took down the Miami Marlins on Friday night, beating them by a final score of 6-1.

The two teams will continue their weekend series on Saturday afternoon and Johnny Cueto will be making his second start of the season for the Marlins as Miami tries to find some momentum to get back into a wild card spot.

Let's dive into the odds and my best bet for this matinee showdown.

Rockies vs. Marlins odds, run line, and total

Rockies vs. Marlins prediction and pick

The Rockies beat up on the Marlins on Friday, but that's not going to scare me from going back to the well and betting on Miami once again.

Johnny Cueto shined in his first appearance since April 3rd, throwing three scoreless innings in relief against the Orioles on July 16th. I expect him to come out firing again today. Despite being 37 years of age, Cueto is coming off a season where he racked up an impressive 3.35 ERA with the White Sox.

Now, he gets to face a Rockies offense that ranks 28th in OPS on the road this season at just .664.

Don't let yesterday's win for the Rockies distract you from the fact the Rockies are still just 15-33 on the road this season, while sporting a -62 run differential away from home. Chase Anderson gets the start for Colorado today. He has allowed at least five earned runs in four of his last five starts.

Let's back the Marlins to get the job done today.
