Will there be history on Friday night? That's the goal as Miguel Cabrera steps to the plate each time.

The future Baseball Hall of Famer Miguel Cabrera sits 1 hit away from 3,000 and will look to do so at Comerica Park when the Detroit Tigers face the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.

The Tigers are considerable home favorites against the visiting Rockies, can they cash? Let's check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook and find a best bet.

Tigers vs. Rockies Prediction and Pick

While everybody is counting on Cabrera to get a hit on Friday, I'm counting on both offenses thriving in Detroit. With a low total, I think we are in line to see an offensive explosion on Friday night.

Tigers' starter Tarik Skubal may have fantastic splits this season, posting a 3.72 ERA while punching out nearly 10 strikeouts per 9 innings, but he also has been getting knocked around and dealing with a lot of traffic on base. He has allowed 11 hits in 9.2 innings pitched this season and the Rockies are ripe to cash in on this while other teams haven't. Colorado is 4th in all of baseball in batting average against left handed pitching and are going to be capable of putting runs on the board.

As for the Tigers, they are also in line to take advantage of Colorado starter Antonio Senzatela, who is primed for negative regression himself. He may have a 2.16 ERA, but he is also allowing a ton of hits, allowing 16 hits in less than 9 innings pitched. Overall, his expected ERA should be in the double digits, so I think the Tigers tag him here and also get runs on the board.

I'm not rushing to back the Tigers at a lofty price, but I'm banking on a high scoring affair on Friday in a potentially historic evening.

LEAN: OVER 7.5
