Last week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Dallas Cowboys went toe-to-toe -- or should I say arm-to arm -- in a game that finished with 108 total pass attempts for a combined 782 passing yards. Both teams had a combined 112 rushing yards. The amount of pass attempts almost reached the number of total rushing yards. That seems weird.

If the Tampa Bay Buccaneers offense is closer to a balanced offense this week against the Atlanta Falcons, (how could it not be more balanced), who will have more yards between running backs Ronald Jones II or Leonard Fournette?

WynnBET Sportsbook currently likes Fournette to have more total rushing and receiving yards than Jones, with Fournette’s line set at 55.5 total yards to Jones' 50.5.

Jones didn’t help his case in the depth chart last week, losing a fumble and some playing time in the process. Fournette was clearly the favored man in the backfield, picking up five more carries than Jones and catching five passes for 27 yards to Jones’ zero catches. Jones didn’t even receive a target in the passing game.

In Week 15 of the 2020 season, Leonard Fournette led the ground attack against the Falcons with 49 rushing yards and two touchdowns, picking up two catches for 16 yards, as well; Jones didn’t play at all that week. Two weeks later, against Atlanta again in Week 17, Ronald Jones led the backfield with 78 rushing yards and a touchdown. Fournette only had 27 total yards on seven touches.

Tom Brady will throw it around the field, as he normally does, but Ronald Jones won’t be there to catch it. Even if both running backs have a quiet game against Atlanta, Fournette appears to be the better play.
