The Kansas City Royals pulled out a wild win over the Los Angeles Angeles in extra innings on Tuesday night despite Angels star Shohei Ohtani driving in eight runs.

The loss dropped the Angeles to third in the NL West, and they need to get back on track after just a brutal past month. The Royals, who are dead last in the AL Central, have won back-to-back games heading into Wednesday’s showdown.

Ohtani (5-4, 3.28 ERA) will take the mound for L.A. against lefty Daniel Lynch (3-6, 5.19 ERA).

Here are the odds for this game via WynnBET

Royals vs. Angels Prediction and Pick

Daniel Lynch has not been good this season, but the Angels don’t deserve to be -230 favorites against anyone right now.

Ohtani has pitched well for Los Angeles this year, but the team is just 5-6 in his 11 starts and has given him pretty average run support all season long.

Both teams had to tax their bullpens in a high-scoring affair on Tuesday, so I’d rather side with the total and take the OVER on Wednesday night.

The Angeles should be able to get to Lynch, who has allowed four or more runs in four of his last six starts, and both of these teams have bullpen ERAs over 4.00.

I can’t lay the juice with L.A. to win given how inconsistent it has been lately. This safe play is on the total.

Lean: OVER 8 (-125)
