The Kansas City Royals and the Baltimore Orioles, two teams expected to be at the bottom of the standings this season, do battle tonight in Baltimore. The Orioles have been quietly adding wins to their record, while the Royals have loudly done the opposite.

Royals vs. Orioles Prediction and Pick
Despite what the 10-16 record says, the Orioles are starting to come into form. They’ve won four of their last six games and did it against two of the better teams in the Majors (Boston & Minnesota).
Meanwhile the Royals are falling, and falling fast. They are 3-7 SU and 4-6 ATS in the last 10 games. We’re only in May and the Royals are starting to look done. The offense has been shutout in three of the last five games and the pitching today isn’t spectacular either.
All of thise sets the Orioles up as easy favorites. Yet most of the time they cover, it’s as an underdog. Today, they’re the favorites and I’m not confident in them enough to back them on the run line.
At -115, the odds are good enough to root for an old-fashioned win.
