Lucas Giolito is enduring a nightmare season, compiling a 6.28 ERA at home as the Chicago White Sox lost each of his last four starts at U.S. Cellular Field.

After the Twins bolstered their bullpen by acquiring Jorge Lopez this morning, Chicago needs every win it can get to keep pace in the AL Central. That means Giolito needs to improve, and quickly.

I'm not sure today is the day that improvement comes, though, as the White Sox are just 8-13 in their last 21 games as home favorites and face a pitcher that dominates them in Brad Keller.

Keller has a quality start in four of his last five outings against Chicago, with a 2.14 ERA in his last three.

Can Kansas City pick up another upset win, or will Giolito earn a critical victory? Let's check out the odds from WynnBET Sportsbook to help find out ahead of this Royals vs White Sox matchup:

Royals vs White Sox Prediction and Pick

Honestly, I'm stunned the White Sox are -165 favorites with Giolito on the mound. They're a pathetic 2-7 in his last nine starts and he got shelled for nine hits and six runs in only three innings against Cleveland in his last home outing.

Kansas City recently embraced a youth movement and their lineup is hitting well. Bobby Witt Jr, Vinnie Pasquantino, and Nick Pratto have all impressed, while the White Sox poor bullpen and defense only make life harder on Giolito.

In his career, Brad Keller has a 3.34 ERA against the White Sox and has a quality start in five of his last seven outings. His 3.88 expected ERA is much lower than Giolito's at 4.55, and I don't have faith in this Chicago club as long as Tony La Russa is at the helm.

We cashed the Royals moneyline yesterday and I'm going right back to well tonight. Look for Keller to impress while Kansas City's lineup hammers Giolito.

Pick: Royals (+152)
