Run Away from Betting Rams After Seeing This Betting Trend

99.9% of us would love to have the resume of L.A. Rams head coach, Sean McVay.

He was hired by Los Angeles at the age of 30, and at the ripe old age of 36 years old, he's 58-29 in his NFL coaching career, winning 2/3 of the 87 games he's been on the sidelines for, topped off with a Super Bowl ring a season ago.

Most weeks, taking a McVay-coached team straight up would be near automatic, winning 66.7% of his games, but this is not the week to do so.

Sean McVay is Worst in the NFL in This Betting Trend

The Rams enter their late-afternoon matchup vs. their division rival San Francisco 49ers at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles today as short home underdog. That's only happened five times in McVay's career where his team has not been favored in their home building.

McVay has coached the Rams since 2017, and has struggled mightily in this spot over his career. In those five games, McVay is 1-4-0 against the spread (ATS) with a margin of victory of -15.8 points, and an ATS +/- of -13.2.

For reference, the second-worst team over that time, the Green Bay Packers has an ATS +/- of -5.3; nearly eight full points less!

McVay has also struggled against the 49ers and their head coach Kyle Shanahan in the regular season, going 0-6 ATS in their last six meetings.

I'll be taking the 49ers as short road favorite this afternoon.
