Russell Westbrook and the Washington Wizards are set to take on the Indiana Pacers tonight for the right to be the No. 8 seed in the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs.

WynnBET has the Wizards set as four-point favorites with the total set at 238.

As far as player props go, Vegas thinks there’s an extremely good chance of Russell Westbrook recording a triple double. WynnBET has the odds of it happening set at -450. If you convert the odds to implied probability, they think Westbrook has an 81.82% chance of pulling it off.

If you think those odds seem aggressive, just look at how Westbrook has performed against Indiana this season and it will seem like -450 is a steal.

Westbrook has averaged 27.3 points, 18 rebounds, and 20 assists in three games against the Pacers in 2021.

Forget triple double, Westbrook might pull off a triple twenty tonight. I know that’s not actually a stat, but it should be.

One of the contributing factors for Westbrook stacking the stat sheet when he plays against the Pacers is that Indiana is one of the few teams in the NBA that is able to match the Wizards in pace of play. In fact, the two teams sit atop the association in possessions per game.

In the three games between the teams this season, an average of 272 points were scored. More points means more opportunities to rack up stats.

It’s kind of crazy that an NBA player has -450 odds to record a triple double, but when it’s Russell Westbrook against the Pacers, that bet all of a sudden has some enticing value.
