Sabres vs. Rangers Prediction and Odds: New York Set as Sizable Favorites
The New York Rangers keep finding ways to win games, and now they find themselves in a favorable matchup against the Buffalo Sabres on Sunday.
The Rangers are 6-2-2 in their last 10 games, and sit in third place in the Metropolitan Division. Meanwhile the Sabres, who got off to an uncharacteristically hot start to their season, have gone 3-6-1 in their last 10 games which has dropped their record to 7-7-2.
Here are the odds for tonight's Eastern Conference matchup, courtesy of WynnBET.

Sabres vs. Rangers Prediction and Pick
The oddsmakers seem to think that the Sabres hot start to their season was a fraudulent one, as they have the Rangers set as massive favorites in this game despite Buffalo still having a respectable 7-7-2 record on the year.
While there's no doubt that New York is the more talented team, I don't think the odds are justified. The Rangers are dead last in even strength CORSI% and 25th in high danger scoring chances. No team with those numbers are deserving of being a -240 (bet $240 to profit $100) favorite.
I'm going to take the Sabres at +215 on the moneyline, but if you're not feeling quite as brave as I am, the +1.5 puck line at -120 is also a fantastic bet.
