We may be in line for another rough Thursday Night Football matchup on Amazon Prime when the New Orleans Saints travel to Arizona to face the Cardinals.

After sitting through the Colts and Broncos, followed by Commanders vs. Bears last week, the NFL executives have delivered a prime time battle between two 2-4 teams fighting to just keep an active roster on the field.

Even with both rosters completely beat up heading into a quick turnaround, there's still several noteworthy prop bets on the board that can be rolled up together into a same game parlay with a nice payout at the end.

Before taking a look at how we can partake in combining a few of our favorite betting plays together, let's first re-visit the latest odds:

This week's same game parlay at PointsBet pays out at +750 odds, meaning a $25 bet could turn into a profit of $187.50 and total payout of $212.50.

Saints vs. Cardinals Best Same Game Parlay Picks

  • Saints +3.5 (alternative spread)
  • UNDER 51.5 (alternative total)
  • Alvin Kamara Anytime Touchdown
  • Taysom Hill 25+ Rushing Yards

Saints +3.5

I've already bet the Saints at +2.5, so with the line now down to +2, let's give ourselves a little more wiggle room and move it past a key number of 3 as a road underdog on a short week.

Arizona is a mess, particularly on offense. They can't score in the first three quarters of games, including just three points for the season in the first quarter, and they've been a disaster covering at home. Since Kingsbury arrived, he's just 10-17 ATS at home, while Murray is 6-16 ATS as a favorite.

Unless Arizona's defense rises to the challenge and shuts down a Saints offense that's put up 28, 39, and 26 points in their last three games, I love the value this number creates in our parlay.

UNDER 51.5 (alternative total)

Via Evan Abrams of TAN, Thursday Night Football matchups have gone 16-4 to the under in the last 20 matchups.

The Saints' offense has been much better, but with no Michael Thomas or Jarvis Landry and perhaps others, they'll rely much more on their running game which in turn, churns the clock down.

Meanwhile, Arizona's offensive struggles are well-documented as of late. They rank last in 1st quarter scoring, fourth-worst in 2nd quarter points, 19th in 3rd quarter points, before moving to third-best in the 4th, often-times when the game is out of reach.

With the current total hovering around 44, we've moved this a full seven and a half points up, passing several key numbers in 47 and 51 along the way.

Alvin Kamara Anytime Touchdown

Kamara has seen a ton of volume the last two weeks, including nine touches in the red zone. Despite the Saints scoring plenty, Kamara has yet to cross the goal line and I expect that to change this week.

The Cardinals' defense ranks top 8 against the run, but allow the 17th-most rushing touchdowns. Kamara can beat opposing teams on the ground and through the air, and with several receivers out, he'll be relied on even more for crucial red zone touches and scoring opportunities.

Taysom Hill 25+ Rushing Yards

Similar to the Saints' upcoming reliance on Kamara, the same must be said for the swiss-army-knife player that is Taysom Hill.

He's cleared this prop number twice in the last two games by a wide margin. He rushed nine times for 112 yards in their Week 5 victory vs. the Seahawks before running it five times for 39 yards last week vs. a tough Bengals' defense.

This is about supply and demand for the Saints' offense. With less receivers and options to get the ball to, that leads to more volume for players like Kamara and Hill, especially as a close road underdog.
