San Diego State vs. Boise State Prediction and Odds for Mountain West Tournament Final (Bet Aztecs to Win Title)
By Reed Wallach
San Diego State and Boise State bring the two best defenses in the Mountain West Conference to the championship game.
The two top seeds in the Mountain West will meet in the title game on Saturday night after splitting the season series. Both San Diego State and Boise State will be in the NCAA Tournament, but will look to add a conference title to their strong seasons.

San Diego State vs. Boise State Prediction and Pick
These two teams can hardly be separated in my opinion. San Diego State lost both regular season meetings by a combined six points with a combined score of 100-94. Yes, this is going to be a defensive struggle, but I still think SDSU is the right side.
The Aztecs led in the final minutes against Boise before closing on the wrong side of a 7-0 run in the last 65 seconds. It was also their first game off a COVID-19 induced layoff. The second meeting ended in the final seconds with Boise escaping with some free throw variance.
I think we see head coach Brian Dutcher get his team ready for this one and they right their ship when it matters most. Lead guard Matt Bradley, and by far their best offensive player, has only scored 12 points in two games during the MWC tourney and I think he's sitting on a big performance.
For my money, the Aztecs are the better team with the better defense and the capable 3-point shooting (best in the MWC despite the lowest rate) and I give them the nod.
With that being said, I wouldn't lay over a bucket with the total this low, I'd key in on SDSU ML in a parlay (I used Villanova) to get a + money payout.
