San Francisco vs. Saint Mary's Prediction and Odds (Dons Are Live for Upset)
By Matt De Saro
The San Francisco Dons and Saint Mary’s Gaels are set to have a rematch of one of the most entertaining games in the WCC this season. The Gaels came away with a two-point win on the road after the Dons blew a late lead. San Francisco will certainly be seeking revenge for that embarrassing defeat even though it was mostly their own fault. But, the Dons are on a hot streak right now, having won five of their last six, and I think make for a strong underdog tonight on the road. Here are the odds for this WCC clash, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
San Francisco vs. Saint Mary's Odds, Spread, and Total
Spread:
- San Francisco +2.5 (-110)
- Saint Mary's -2.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- San Francisco +127
- Saint Mary's -155
Total: 154 (Over -110/Under -110)
San Francisco vs. Saint Mary's Prediction and Pick
The only thing stopping me from betting the farm on San Francisco is the amazing defense that Saint Mary’s possesses. They are 17th in adjusted defensive efficiency and do a great job of keeping opposing offenses in check. However, in the first game between these two, the Dons still managed to put points up despite blowing it in the end. The Dons shot over 50 percent in that game and I think we see another strong showing from this offense.
Additionally, the Gales have been struggling recently and are coming off two losses in their last three games. Sure, they are unbeaten at home, but all good things must come to an end. The Gaels have been struggling on defense to a bit, allowing Gonzaga to shoot over 54 percent in their last game. The offense won’t do much to pitch in and I really like USF to come into tow and take care of business tonight.
Pick: San Francisco +127 to win
