The top men's golf event on the planet isn't in America this week. Instead, it's across the pond at Renaissance Golf Club for this week's Scottish Open.

For just the second time, the event is officially co-sanctioned by both the PGA Tour and DP World Tour (Formally named the European Tour). Many golfers use this event as a warm up for next week's Open Championship.

For the sixth straight year, it will be hosted at Renaissance, so if you want to take a peak at course history to help determine where you're placing your money, stick events taking place in 2019 or later.

Let's take a look at the odds to win and then I'll give you my best bets.

Odds to Win the Scottish Open

Picks to Win the Scottish Open

Scottie Scheffler +700

Don't let the fact he hasn't won in a few months distract you from Scottie Scheffler's magically consistent level of golf that he's been playing at in 2023. He hasn't finished worse than T12 in 18 (!!) straight starts. The last time he finished outside the top 12 was at the CJ Cup last October.

Sure, this event has some great golfers in it, but it's relatively top heavy. With that being the case we can still get Scheffler at +700? Count me in.

DataGolf.com pre-tournament model has Scheffler's odds set at +640, so jump on him at +700 while you still can. Despite being the favorite, there's plenty of value to be had.

Tyrrell Hatton +2000

Tyrrell Hatton is another golfer that DataGolf.com displays as having betting value at his current price. They have him with the fifth best chance to win at 5.1% which translates to +1873.

Despite not yet winning in 2023, it's Hatton who ranks third on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained this season, behind only Scheffler and Jon Rahm. Playing back in Europe should give him comfort and confidence ahead at the Renaissance Club.

Lucas Herbert +6600

Lucas Herbert is a great example of a golfer that has great court history while also sporting solid form ahead of the event. He finished fourth at the Scottish Open both in 2020 and 2021, and he's coming off one of this better starts of the year, finishing T15 at the Travelers Championship.

Also, let's keep in mind the last time he competed in a DP World Tour sanctioned event back in April, he won the ISPS Handa Championship. He has also historically fared extremely well on European soil.

If you're looking for a mid-range dark horse, Lucas Herbert is your guy.
