The Seattle Seahawks and San Francisco 49ers both enter Week 3 off of losses and will look to right the ship in their first divisional matchups of the year.

Seattle is in danger of falling to 1-3 on the year after squandering a fourth quarter lead in Week 2 and being outclassed by the Vikings in Week 3, now the Seahawks travel to San Francisco to take on a Niners team that is an Aaron Rodgers-led comeback drive away from being 3-0.

Who has the edge in this NFC West showdown? Here are the odds at WynnBET Sportsbook and my best bet for Week 4.

Seahawks vs. 49ers Spread, Odds and Total

Spread

Seahawks: +2.5 (+105)

49ers: -2.5 (-125)

Moneyline

Seahawks: +130

49ers: -150

Total: 52 (Over -110/Under -110)

Seahawks vs. 49ers Trends

  • Russell Wilson is 20-11-2 as a road underdog
  • 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan is 8-19-1 as a favorite
  • San Francisco is 12-11-1 to the OVER under Kyle Shanahan in NFC West games

49ers vs. Seahawks Prediction and Pick

I'd wait for this line to hit Seattle +3 again from a spread perspective, but see the Seahawks taking advantage of a Niners team that needs to make a change at quarterback.

I make this game close to a pick ‘em and think this is the perfect spot for the Seahawks to get right after dropping two straight.

While the Niners were close to stealing a win against the Packers, I was not impressed with Jimmy Garoppolo for the second straight week, and the team still seems to be a few weeks away from getting fully healthy. Overall, the Niners are bottom 10 in the league in passing success rate against three teams that are below league average at defending it.

Green Bay outgained San Francisco by nearly two yards per play last week, and Aaron Rodgers had no issue picking apart a depleted Niners secondary. San Francisco was lucky to be in that game. Russell Wilson should have no issue finding his receivers in space in Week 4.

The Seahawks enter this game in desperation mode, now two games off the NFC West pace in what is the most difficult division in the NFL.

I'm comfortable backing Wilson in this spot, who has been as good as anyone as a road underdog, going 20-11-2 in this situation.

I’m still a believer in Seattle, but am going to hold out for this line to get back to +3. I will also likely be sprinkling on their money line as well and see them as one of the week's strongest teaser legs. There are plenty of ways to get involved in the Seahawks on Sunday.
