Seahawks vs. Cardinals Prediction and Odds, Spread and Over/Under in NFL Week 9

Geno Smith and the Seattle Seahawks are in sole possession of first place in the NFC West after eight weeks of football. Who would have thought that would be the case? Not me. This time, it was the Giants who fell victim to Smithsanity. We can work on a better name, but this could turn into a real phenomenon if he keeps it up. 

The Arizona Cardinals are in last place in the division at 3-5 and lost, 34-26, to the Vikings. Last time these two teams met it was the Seahawks who won it 19-9, but now the Cardinals have Deandre Hopkins, so maybe it will be different this time around.

Seahawks vs. Cardinals Prediction and Pick

Against the Giants, Geno Smith threw for 212 yards and two touchdowns, it wasn’t a massive day for their offense, but they were opportunistic and Kenneth Walker was able to run the ball when it mattered. He is emerging as one of the best running backs in the NFL even though he had just 51 yards on 18 carries. This carry should tell you everything about how good he is and can be. 

The Cardinals offense has changed with Hopkins on the field. In the first meeting between these teams, Kyler Murray went 23-for-37 for 222 yards, no touchdowns and an interception and they scored just nine points. In the past two games they have scored 42 and 26 points. Though the 42 came with two pick sixes and last week Murray threw two interceptions. 

I think the Cardinals are improving and their offense will remain more high scoring with Hopkins, but the Seahawks play winning football. They do not turn the ball over and they can run the ball to ice a game. Let’s ride the Seahawks again this week.
