Seahawks vs. Cowboys Prediction (Geno Smith and Drew Lock Will Battle for Starting Role)
Whenever I see the Seattle Seahawks and Dallas Cowboys playing, Tony Romo fumbling the snap for the game winning field goal in the playoffs comes to mind every single time.
But I digress. The two teams are facing off in a much less important game this Friday, when they meet for their preseason finale.
The Seahawks are 0-2 in exhibition matchups this year, while the Cowboys bounced back with a big win over the Chargers, after scoring only seven points in a loss to the Broncos in Week 1.
Let's take a look at the odds for this preseason finale, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.
Seahawks vs. Cowboys Odds, Spread, and Total
Seahawks vs. Cowboys Odds, Spread and Total Movement in NFL Preseason Week 3
There has been huge movement in the odds for this game. The Seahawks started the week as 2.5-point favorites. That number has been bumped up four total points, and now the Seahawks are laying 6.5 points.
We've also seen movement in the total, with it dropping from 40, down to 37.
Seahawks vs. Cowboys Best Bet and Prediction
Dak Prescott was expected to see some time in the Cowboys preseason finale, but news broke on Tuesday night that he'll sit out.
That is likely the biggest reason for the line movement in both the spread and the total.
That, alongside the fact that the Seahawks will be playing their top two QBs for the majority of the game.
Even with that being the case, I think the line movement is a huge overreaction for a preseason game. The Cowboys still have the ability to put up some points, as they proved in their latest game against the Chargers.
With the amount of unknowns going on in an exhibition game, I'll take the 6.5 points and hope for the best.
Pick: Cowboys +6.5
