The Detroit Lions are on the upswing and might be on the other side of their rebuild while the Seattle Seahawks are on their way down. Regardless, both teams find themselves 1-2 heading into a Week 4 matchup that is getting more and more intriguing as Detroit continues to lose skill players to injury. With Amon-Ra St. Brown and D’Andre Swift both out, there could be some valuable props for their replacements.

Best Prop Bets for Seahawks vs. Lions

  • Jamal Williams Over 16.5 Carries
  • Jamal Williams Over 63.5 Rush Yards
  • Jared Goff Under 255.5 Pass Yards

Jamal Williams Over 16.5 Carries

I said it in the open and I’ll say it again, D’Andre Swift is out and that means Williams will be a workhorse. Last week when Swift got banged up early and Williams got 20 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns. That was with Swift still getting seven carries on the game. Williams will be even more involved this week. I wouldn't be surprised if Dan Campbell gave him the ball 25-30 times against Seattle.

Jamal Williams Over 62.5 Rush Yards

Again this is the same story. No Swift means a whole lot of Williams. It is worth mentioning that Craig Reynolds will also be involved and get some carries. He got six last week, but only turned it into 13 yards. There is the potential that he cuts into Williams carries some, but Williams should easily get over this number against Seattle’s run defense that has given up the third most rushing yards on the year.

Jared Goff Under 260.5 Pass Yards

This has nothing to do with Goff himself, I love the way he’s been running this Detroit offense and he is having a very good season. I think Goff has the trust of his coaching staff and on most weeks I would love this over. The reason the under is such an enticing play is the injuries to Detroit’s receivers. St. Brown is out, Josh Reynolds and D.J. Chark are questionable and Swift, who catches a lot of screens and dump offs, is out.
