It hasn’t been a hot-start for the Detroit Lions coming off of their Hard Knocks hype, but Week 4 is a perfect spot for them to turn things around against the Seattle Seahawks at home. We’ve got Jared Goff vs. Geno Smith, and what could be better than that?

Detroit opened as a six-point favorite, but it was bet down to 4.5 earlier in the week and has held firm at that number.
Seahawks vs. Lions Best Bet and Prediction
Not all 1-2 teams are created equal, and this matchup will show that more than any. Seattle stole a win in Week 1 and has been abysmal since then, while Detroit has been in all three of their games with two of them being quality opponents.
The Lions have losses to the Eagles and Vikings, but they have proven their ability to score points. They are second in points per game and third in yards per game. They are running the ball for 170.3 yards per game behind an elite offensive line and Jared Goff has seven touchdowns to just two picks and is averaging almost 250 yards per game. The Lions have started 1-2, but they are a much better team than that and I could realistically see them finishing with eight or nine wins.
The Detroit defense has not been great, but Jeff Okudah has been a bright spot. He has finally turned into an elite shutdown corner and I fully expect him to take DK Metcalf completely out of the game this week.
Geno Smith will play it safe once again and complete some passes, but will never make a big play when they need it. I love the Lions this week and think they win big. Everyone remembers Week 1 when they watched the Seahawks beat the Broncos on Monday Night Football, so they haven’t noticed how bad it’s gotten for Seattle since then.
