Week 1 was the Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl and that becomes more and more apparent with every passing week. They took advantage of a Broncos offense that still has no answers and got a big win, but that may be their last. The shine has come off of Geno Smith, but the Seahawks are not alone at 1-2, the Detroit Lions host Seattle looking for their second win of the year too.

The Lions lost Week 3 in the final minute, but they might be able to get right against Pete Caroll’s squad.

Seahawks vs. Lions Prediction and Pick

The Lions are a run first offense that has been high scoring through this season. The Lions have scored in every quarter this season and actually going back to 2021 have in the most consecutive quarters in the NFL.

Things could get tougher for the Lions though with D'andre Swift suffering a shoulder injury. On Sunday, Jamal Williams did a nice job with his 20 carries for 87 yards and two touchdowns. I like the fact that they have two good running backs, but behind that offensive line I think any running back will have success.

I think Seattle is the worst team in the NFL with far less upside than the likes of the Bears and Texans on a given week. What do the Seahawks have going for them? Two good receivers who can’t get the ball downfield because Geno Smith is their quarterback.

I love Detroit in this one and the line reflects how much better they are. I bet the public will take the points because they remember the Seahawks primetime win, but Detroit is a class above. Jared Goff isn't a Super Bowl quarterback, Sean McVay told us that, but he can run a very effective high powered offense in the regular season. McVay showed us that too. Amon-Ra St. Brown is a legit No. 1 receiver and he has real chemistry with Goff. As long as the Detroit Defense can hold Seattle under 30, then the Lions can score enough to cover.

Pick: Lions -6 (-110)
