The Seattle Seahawks will be praying that Russell Wilson can return to action in Week 10 for their game against the Green Bay Packers

Both teams are in danger of having to play without their starting quarterback with Aaron Rodgers dealing with COVID-19. While he is expected back, he has yet to pass the two required tests in a 48-hour period.

Before the bye, the Seahawks had the luxury of playing the Jacksonville Jaguars and crushed them 31-7 with backup QB Geno Smith. It was the third game in a row that the Seahawks covered with Smith under center.

The Packers were unable to secure a win with their backup quarterback, Jordan Love. It’s clear that Love isn’t game-ready yet and the Packers desperately need Rodgers to return.

Seahawks vs. Packers Prediction and Pick

This is the hardest game on the schedule to pick this early on in the week. Russel Wilson may play, he may not. Aaron Rodgers is in the same boat. While they both seem like they will be ready to go, nothing is certain in the NFL.

This could be an epic quarterback battle between Rodgers and Wilson or a far less interesting game between Geno Smith and Jordan Love.

It is likely we will have to wait until at least late in the week to head updates about either of these guys. Wilson will probably be a game-time decision as he works back from a broken finger.

The way I look at this game is that if Rodgers manages to play, it doesn’t matter who is under center for the Seahawks. They are a better team and should find their way back into the win column with their starter back at work. If both return this will be a much better game, but the Seahawks defense just doesn’t have the chops to hang with Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.
