Any time there's a major injury in the NFL, bettors seem to flock to the opposite side and immediately bet on the opposing team. Myself, being the contrarian that I am, I'm usually inclined to underreact to the news and go against the public.
Well that's exactly what I'm doing in the Sunday Night Football game between the Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Russell Wilson went down with a fractured finger in last week's Thursday night game against the Rams, which means that Geno Smith will get the start for Seattle in tonight's prime time matchup. While that may make you think that the Steelers are the obvious bet to make, I don't agree.

Find out why @IainMacBets isn't letting the Russell Wilson injury sway him from betting on the Seahawks in tonight's Sunday Night Football game. ? pic.twitter.com/NP0w9bPuwq
Smith won't need to do much to keep up with this Steelers offense, and I think it's going to remain a close game. Give me Seattle and the points tonight.
