Sixers vs. Heat Prediction and Odds (Can Philly Make up Ground in the East?)
By Matt De Saro
It’s a big night in the NBA’s Eastern Conference when the Miami Heat and Philadelphia 76ers square off at the FTX Arena. This game represents a rubber match between the two with each having won a game apiece in this series so far. The Sixers enter this showdown coming off a tight 125-119 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers with Tyrese Maxy putting up 32 points. It was the Sixers' fifth straight win and they have not lost since James Harden joined the starting rotation. The Heat are also playing sharp and are winners of five of their last six games to keep them atop the Eastern Conference. Here are the odds for this Eastern Conference clash, courtesy of WynnBET:
Sixers vs. Heat Odds, Spread, and Total
Spread:
- Sixers: +5.5 (-110)
- Heat: -5.5 (-110)
Moneyline:
- Sixers: +180
- Heat: -220
Total:
- 220.5 (Over -110/Under -110)
Sixers vs. Heat Prediction and Pick
The Sixers might be a little low on energy tonight with this being their third game in four nights including a back-to-back. Despite this, the Heat are not going to have an easy time in this game as the 76ers have a ton of offensive firepower and the Heat could struggle to keep them in check. With the new combo of Joel Embiid and James Harden, the Sixers have yet to lose a game and are playing with a lot of momentum. Another reason to like the Sixers tonight is that Jimmy Butler, PJ Tucker, Max Strus, and Caleb Martin are all questionable while Kyle Lowry is out. One of these teams will see their winning streak snapped tonight and I’m going to grab the value on Philly to win outright. Even if Butler and the other questionable guys suit up, they won't be at full strength and the Sixers are a dangerous opponent.
Pick: Sixers +180 to win
