The two best teams in the Eastern Conference will face off on Sunday with the Chicago Sky traveling to Connecticut to face the Connecticut Sun.

The Sun have been red hot, winning four straight games to pull within just two games of Chicago for the top seed in the East. Jonquel Jones, last year’s MVP, has returned to the lineup for Connecticut, giving it another dimension offensively.

The Sky have been playing well, winning eight of their last 120 games, which should make this an interesting battle.

Here are the odds for Sunday’s game from WynnBET

Sky vs. Sun Odds, Spread and Total

Spread:

  • Sky +4 (-110)
  • Sun -4 (-110)

Moneyline:

  • Sky: +160
  • Sun: -195

Total:

  • 165 (Over -110/Under -110)

Sky vs. Sun Prediction and Pick

The Sun are rightful favorites in this game with Jones healthy, as they have the best net rating in the WNBA and have been arguably the best team in the league since the All-Star break.

These two teams are No. 2 (Sun)  and No. 3 (Sky) in offensive rating and No. 3 (Sun) and No. 4 (Sky) in defensive rating.

This could be a playoff preview with how well these two teams have played, but I think I have to side with Connecticut in this one.

The Sun have won six of their last seven games, and each win has been by five or more points. They are putting away good teams as well, beating the Seattle Storm in their last game.

The Sky have been slightly worse on the road this season, going 10-5 compared to 12-2 at home. Give me Connecticut to stay hot on Sunday.

Lean: Sun -4 (-110)
