Let’s start by being very transparent in the fact that the Steelers and the Chiefs could be an ugly game, much like the Bills and Patriots and Eagles and Buccaneers fiascos. It isn’t the most fun to watch, but it can be really fun to make money. Najee Harris has a good chance to make bettors happy tonight.

I’m smashing the Najee Harris OVER 22.5 receiving yards prop

The Chiefs have been on a pretty good run as a defense, but they’ve been pretty flexible against opposing running backs. The Chiefs have allowed 489 rushing yards over the last four weeks, fifth-most in the NFL. Not only are they giving up space yards on the ground, they’re giving up plenty of yards through the air as well.

Over the course of the season, the Chiefs allowed the third-most receiving yards to opposing running backs at 887. That checks in at 52.1 receiving yards per game. Harris needs a staggering 29 yards under the Chiefs average to cash on his prop bet? I like those number.

Najee Harris has been an electric receiving back in his rookie year

The Steelers feature one back, and one back only. When they invested a first round draft pick into Harris, it was clear he would handle a stark majority of their running back workload. Harris carried the ball 307 times as a rookie, second-most behind only Jonathan Taylor. Next on the Steelers list is Benny Snell with only 36 carries.

Through the air, Harris is third on the Steelers with 94 targets, catching 74 of them. He averaged 27.5 receiving yards per game, which is probably why the prop is set where it is. But in what is expected to be a negative game script that will need the Steelers to rely on the passing attack, Harris should see plenty of opportunities to catch the ball. I’m putting my money on Harris to blow past this number.

Pick: Najee Harris OVER 22.5 receiving yards
