South Dakota vs. South Dakota State Prediction and Odds for Summit League Semifinal
By Joe Summers
The 28-4 South Dakota State Jackrabbits notched two double-digit wins over their in-state rivals this year and aims for a season-sweep when they take on the 19-11 Coyotes in the Summit League Semifinal tonight at 7:00 PM EST.
South Dakota State has won 19 straight, but the Coyotes are no slouch, going 13-3 against the spread (ATS) in their last 16.
Does value lie with the Jackrabbits to earn another convincing win, or will South Dakota keep it close or even pull off the upset?
Let's take a look at the odds via WynnBET to find out:

- South Dakota State -9 (-110)

- South Dakota State: -425
Total:

South Dakota vs South Dakota State Prediction and Pick
I hope you like three-pointers. If not, you may want to skip this one. The Jackrabbits have the best three-point shooting percentage in the country at an obscene 44.3%, while the Coyotes are waaaay down the list at 18th with 37.8%.
If you didn't catch the sarcasm, 18th in the nation is still very, very good.
Neither team defends the perimeter particularly well, either. South Dakota State ranks 277th in defensive three-point percentage and South Dakota is 295th - this matchup might as well be a three-point contest.
Both teams protect the ball at an impressive rate and don't force turnovers or are disruptive on defense, so these offenses should have plenty of room to operate.
Each of South Dakota State's last three games have screamed over the total and I see more of the same here. The over is 17-10 when South Dakota State is a favorite and 9-6 when the Coyotes are underdogs. With two high-powered offenses and lack-luster defenses, I expect those trends to continue.
Pick: Over 152.5 (-110)
