In a rematch of a 76-71 Montana State victory two weeks ago, the 21-7 Bobcats hope for a similar result when they host the 18-9 Southern Utah Redbirds tonight at 7:00 PM MST.
Montana State has won 12 of 14 but has struggled against the spread recently, covering only once in their past five matchups. Southern Utah, meanwhile, has won and covered in each of their last two.
Does value lie with the Bobcats to complete a season-sweep at home or will Southern Utah get revenge late in the season?

Southern Utah vs Montana State Prediction and Pick
Montana State is one of the better shooting teams in the country. They rank 35th in effective field goal percentage thanks to the 13th-highest three-point shooting percentage in the country.
An excellent defensive rebounding team, they do a good job limiting second-chance opportunities but allow a ton of free throws, ranking 326th in defensive free throw rate. The Bobcats make up for that offensively though with the 8th-highest offensive free throw rate.
The Redbirds profile similarly. They're 57th in effective field goal percentage but a woeful 260th in adjusted defensive efficiency. They get to the free throw line a lot but surrender the same opportunity to their opponents, helping the over go 10-4 in their last 14.
Neither team has excelled much in these situations. Montana State hasn't covered the spread in their past four as a home favorite while Southern Utah is 1-5 ATS over their last six as an underdog. In the Bulldogs' case though, all four of those spreads were double digits and I can't ignore the Redbirds 3-8 ATS record on the road.
Give me Montana State to cover the modest spread at home and take advantage of a poor Southern Utah defense.
