Sportsbooks Rooting Hard for Buffalo on the Road for Bills vs. Jets
By Ben Heisler
The Mike White experience continues to receive all the hype, despite a sample size of only a couple of NFL games.
White and the New York Jets, despite being 12.5-point home dogs against the Buffalo Bills are WynnBET Sportsbook's highest liability this week.
WynnBET says the liability is actually not a result of betting on the spread, but rather on the moneyline. Right now, the Jets are +500 at WynnBET to pull of the upset, meaning a $25 bet for New York straight-up would win $125.
White has thrown for five touchdowns to go with four interceptions in three-plus games this year. He came in relief of rookie Zach Wilson back in Week 7 against the Patriots and had been playing well until getting injured in the Week 9 loss to the Indianapolis Colts on the road.
Aside from the Jets, the Patriots -2 at home against the Browns, as well as Carolina +10 on the road against the Cardinals are the other top two liabilities for WynnBET for Week 10.
The Jets have made a habit so far this season of knocking off highly favored teams at MetLife Stadium. In Week 4, they defeated the Tennessee Titans as 5.5-point dogs at home. Then in Week 8, White and the Jets stunned the Bengals who were favored on the road by 11.5 points!
Buffalo enters Week 10 licking their wounds after losing as a a double-digit favorite on the road to the Jacksonville Jaguars last week. Josh Allen, one of the favorites to win NFL MVP had his worst game in years, throwing two interceptions as Buffalo failed to get into the end zone all game.
