The Orlando Magic lost to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, 92-79, the 79 points the Magic scored was their lowest total in a game since Apr. 30 last season when they lost to the Memphis Grizzlies, 92-75.

A win tonight would give Orlando their first home win of the season.

The San Antonio Spurs have won just two of their first eight games, but have remained competitive, covering the spread in five of those eight games.

Both of these teams have gone young this season, with the Magic and Spurs rosters with average ages under 25. Which collection of youngsters will prevail?

Here are the odds for this matchup, courtesy of WynnBET Sportsbook.

Spurs vs. Magic Prediction and Pick

Orlando’s offense has been awful, and it completely bottomed-out on Wednesday night with 79 points. The unfortunate thing for the Magic is that their defense is also bad. Orlando is averaging a loss by at least eight points by their opponent scoring margin, and have recorded the fifth-lowest shooting percentage in the NBA.

Add in that the Magic are also fourth in the NBA in fouls, constantly sending opponents to the free-throw line, there’s not a lot to believe in here.

The Spurs’ offensive combo of guard Dejounte Murray and forward Keldon Johnson have played solidly of late, Murray scoring 21 or more points in four of his last five games. The Spurs have played at an up-tempo pace, 106.3 possessions per game, fourth in the NBA; the Magic sit 26th in pace.

All signs point to a Spurs victory on Friday night, and I think they’ll cover the spread once again.

Pick: Spurs -3.5
