Stanford vs. Washington Prediction, Odds, Spread and Over/Under for College Football Week 4
By Reed Wallach
Washington was one of the most impressive teams of Week 3, but can they follow it up with a conference foe coming to town?
Stanford had an early bye week and now head to Seattle to face another contending PAC-12 team in Washington. The Huskies disposed of Michigan State at home, 39-28, in a game that wasn't very competitive, and now start PAC-12 play.
Will Michael Penix Jr. and Washington stay in form against Stanford, or is it time to sell high on the Huskies?
Here are the odds from FanDuel Sportsbook:
Stanford vs. Washington Odds, Spread and Total
Stanford vs. Washington Betting Trends
- Since 2018, Stanford is 6-11 against the spread (ATS) as a PAC-12 underdog
- Washington is 3-0 ATS this season and 3-0 to the OVER
- Stanford is 0-2 ATS this season and 0-2 to the UNDER
Stanford vs. Washington Prediction and Pick
Stanford is coming off a bye, but is still pretty banged up as their starting running back EJ Smith is going to miss this one.
However this is a swift adjustment for the Huskies, who closed below -4 last week against a banged up Michigan State squad, can they win with expected margin against a Stanford team coming off of a bye? Shaw's group stayed close with USC despite four turnovers, two of which came in the red zone cost them a chance at winning outright.
Now they head to Seattle to take on a Washington defense looked vulnerable to chunk plays thus far, outside the top 75 in both explosive rush and pass D.
Stanford is 29th in yards per play this season while Washington is 14th. I expect we see points on the board and the market agrees, the total is up from the opener of 60.5. I lean towards the over and Stanford covering the near-two touchdown spread.
