The Dallas Stars and Nashville Predators are in the middle of a tight race in the NHL's Central Division, and now they'll face-off in a pivotal matchup on Tuesday night.

Only one point separates the Wild, Stars and Predators in their division, and are all barely hanging on to a playoff spot in the Conference. The Predators currently hold on to the final wild card spot, but the Oilers, Ducks, and Canucks are all hot on their tail by four points or fewer.

Here are the odds via WynnBET for tonight's key matchup in the Central Division.

Stars vs. Predators Prediction and Pick

The Nashville Predators have been in rough shape in recent weeks, and I'll jump all over the chance at backing the Stars as underdogs.

Over their last 25 games, the Predators rank 26th in CORSI percentage, 24th in expected goals per 60 minutes, and 27th in expected goals against per 60 minutes. Those don't sound like the numbers of a team that should be in the thick of a playoff race.

The Stars, on the other hand, rank 15th, fifth, and sixth in those three stats respectively, leagues above the Preds, yet they're +115 underdogs.

This bet is a no-brainer for me.

Pick: Stars +115
