For anyone interested in just viewing the headline, this is not a knock on the Arizona Cardinals.

If anything, it's a testament to their success. Good teams need the ball to bounce their way on occasion in the NFL, and in the case of the Cardinals, that's happened the most in all of football.

Los Angeles Rams broadcaster J.B. Long posted on Twitter Monday morning that Arizona has been extraordinarily fortunate with recovering their own fumbles this season. The Cardinals have fumbled 24 times this season which lead the NFL. However, they've only lost three of them all season long, recovering their own turnover 87.5% of the time.

Earlier in the week in BetSided's upset picks for Week 14, I wrote about how the Rams are 8-0 this season when they win the turnover battle, and 0-4 when they lose. The Cardinals, to their credit, enter Week 14 with the fifth-best turnover margin in the league, but if the Rams capitalize and shorten the field when Arizona puts the ball on the ground, they should not only cover the 2.5 point spread at WynnBET, but win straight up.

With a win, Arizona would almost certainly lock up the NFC West division, moving into a three-game lead over Los Angeles, including sweeping their series this season. A victory for the Rams keeps their shot at a division title alive as Los Angeles' only remaining division opponents both visit SoFi Stadium when the Seahawks and 49ers come to town.

The Cardinals still have the upper hand in the futures market at WynnBET over the Rams as well. Arizona is third on the board behind the Buccaneers and Packers at +325 odds to win the NFC, ahead of the Rams at +600. For Super Bowl futures, the Cardinals are fourth at +725, tied with the New England Patriots in odds for the title. The Rams are currently tied for sixth with the Dallas Cowboys at +1200.
