Steelers vs. Bengals: Odds, Spread, Over/Under and Prediction for NFL Week 3
By Thomas Snodgrass
The Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Buffalo Bills on the road in Week 1 then lost at home to the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2.
An upset followed by a letdown.
The Cincinnati Bengals won an overtime thriller over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, only to lose to the Justin Fields-led Chicago Bears in Week 2.
An upset followed by a letdown.
The Steelers defensive secondary was picked clean by Derek Carr, allowing 382 passing yards and two touchdown passes. Their defense was depleted in Week 2 with cornerback Joe Haden and linebacker Devin Bush inactive. It made matters worse when linebacker TJ Watt left the game early with a groin issue. Pittsburgh will get to face Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow, who is coming off a three interception debacle.
After knocking starting quarterback Andy Dalton out of the game last week, Cincinnati will look to thwart Ben Roethlisberger and the Steelers offense in Week 3. The Bengals have started the year well on the defensive side of the ball, allowing just 239 passing yards per game, 95 rushing yards per game and 22 points per game on the young season.
Will there be surprises or letdowns for these AFC North foes in Week 3?

Steelers vs. Bengals Prediction and Pick
The Bengals defense has been really good in the first few weeks of the season, they did well in slowing down Dalvin Cook of the Vikings and David Montgomery of the Bears, so I don’t think Najee Harris will have a breakout game for the Steelers just yet.
Pittsburgh may have to depend on Roethlisberger and its talented receiving corps to get past Cincinnati. This game will heavily depend on which quarterback can take better care of the football.
I’ll say Roethlisberger does at home. This will be a close game, but I’ll still take the Steelers at -4.5.
