Mike Tomlin remains one of the NFL's best coaches. His resume speaks for itself, and the Pittsburgh Steelers are continually underrated with Tomlin at the helm.

The Steelers are 11-5-1 ATS (against the spread) in their last 17 preseason games and take on a Jacksonville Jaguars squad this week that's just 2-7 ATS in its last nine.

While the Jaguars are trending up by virtue of simply not having Urban Meyer anymore, Kenny Pickett and George Pickens stole the show last week as the Steelers' future looks bright.

Can Pittsburgh keep rolling or will Jacksonville pick up its first win in the Doug Pederson era?

Steelers vs Jaguars Prediction and Pick

What have the Jaguars done to be such large favorites over Pittsburgh? I'll answer that for you: absolutely nothing.

Jacksonville is still adjusting to a new regime and scheme under Doug Pederson, while the Steelers have continuity behind Tomlin to lean on. Plus, it seems Pittsburgh struck gold once again at the wide receiver position in the draft.

Pickens is a monster. Between him, Diontae Johnson, and Chase Claypool, the Steelers have an excellent wide receiver group that will give Mason Rudolph and Kenny Pickett plenty of options to choose from.

Jacksonville's roster lacks depth, as we saw on display when Cleveland held it scoreless in the second-half last week.

At +155, I'm thrilled to back Tomlin and Pittsburgh. The Steelers should be favored here in my opinion, so to get such tremendous odds is a steal (get it, Steelers?). Back Pittsburgh to improve to 8-2 outright in its last 10 preseason games as an underdog.

Pick: Steelers (+155)
