The Madrid Open is moving along quickly, with the semifinals taking place today and the final tomorrow. On the other side of the bracket, Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcarz face off for a chance to play the winner of this match.

For Zverev, he is looking for consecutive titles at this event. Can Tsitsipas stop him and get a title before the French Open?

Here are the odds for the matchup courtesy of WynnBET

Stefanos Tsitsipas vs. Alexander Zverev Prediction and Pick

After a dominating stretch in Tsitsipas’ favor, this matchup has become an actual rivalry. The two have gone 2-2 in their last four matches, with Zverev snatching consecutive wins in Mexico and Cincinnati in 2021. Tsitsipas currently has the leg up, beating Zverev in Monaco in straight sets earlier this year.

This match could go either way, so I’m looking at the game total for this one. In four of their last five non-major meetings, the winner has won in straight sets. This match would have to feature two highly-competitive sets, and I’d rather bet on two solid set wins than a set with a tiebreaker.

While both of these players are in the top five, the level of tennis will be high. However, the last three years of this matchup shows that this might be a quick match.

Lean: Under 23.5 games (-115)
