Storm vs. Aces Prediction and Odds for WNBA Playoff Semifinals Game 1 (Never Count out Breanna Stewart)

The Las Vegas Aces won three of four regular season matchups against the Seattle Storm and hope for similar success in the WNBA Playoff Semifinals.

Vegas decimated Phoenix in Round 1, winning both games by a combined score of 196-143. Chelsea Gray dropped 27 points in the second matchup, and the Aces are clear favorites to advance.

Don't count out Breanna Stewart and the Storm though. Stewart had 21 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists in Game 2 against the Washington Mystics, and the Storm's offense looks deadly.

Stewart is the reason I don't feel comfortable fading Seattle, even though the Aces look dominant. If the Storm have any chance at winning this series, it'll need a statement game early on. I think we get Seattle's best effort in Game 1, and I'll back the Storm at +5 to keep things close and turn this into a competitive series.
