We’re one game away from knowing who will meet the Las Vegas Aces in the WNBA Finals. The Sun and the Sky are tied 2-2 right now, with a winner-take-all game from Wintrust Arena.

Connecticut was able to put it all on the line in Game 4 to stay alive, but will the Sun have enough left in the tank to make it back to the Finals?

There’s so much that can happen tonight, but we definitely have you covered with the best bets of the night.

Sun vs. Sky Best Bets

The Sun couldn’t make a layup in Game 3 at home, and then made everything in sight in Game 4. So what’s the best way to try and handicap this winner-take-all matchup in Chicago?

For me, it’s to go back to the bread-and-butter that’s been 13-8-0 ATS so far in the playoffs for me and taking the better team by a sizable margin in the first quarter to cover a tiny line.

Chicago in the postseason is +19.8 in netrating in the first, compared to -10.5 for Connecticut. When they’re at home, the Sky are +41, compared to -23 for the Sun on the road.

I’ll lean on Chicago to cover the 4.5 and break away late from Connecticut, but I’ll bet on the far superior first quarter team as my best bet. – Ben Heisler

PICK: Sky 1Q -1 (-110)

The Sky have won their games in this series by an average of six points. They haven’t put their foot on the gas and blown the Sun out, which concerns me a little going into tonight. However, it’s hard for me to look at the defending champions on their home floor and say they won’t get it done.

Chicago was 14-4 at home this season. Wintrust Arena is a safe space for the Sky. On top of that, two of the Sun’s three losses this postseason have come by at least five points.

Connecticut has seemed like bum slayers since the beginning of the season and now that it has to knock off a giant, I just don’t trust it.

LEAN: Sky -4.5 (-110)
