Don’t look now, but the NFL season is less than two months away!

NFL teams are reporting to training camp within the next week, as some teams have already had rookies report this summer.

The NFL offseason has cooled off in terms of player movement – although DeAndre Hopkins just signed with the Tennessee Titans – but that has allowed the futures market to settle in the process.

Aaron Rodgers is a New York Jet, and the AFC seemed to get even better than it was last season. Yet, the Kansas City Chiefs are still the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

That tells us how much oddsmakers believe in Patrick Mahomes and this roster’s year after year success, but the Philadelphia Eagles also have shorter than +1000 odds to win it all in Super Bowl 58.

With the NFL, it’s important to take into account that players can get injured in the offseason and preseason, but this is also likely when you’ll get the best odds on a few teams.

Let’s check out the latest odds and football season nears:

Latest odds to win Super Bowl 58

Ranking NFL teams as contenders based on their Super Bowl odds

Super Bowl Contenders

  • Kansas City Chiefs: +600
  • Philadelphia Eagles: +800
  • Cincinnati Bengals: +1100
  • San Francisco 49ers: +1000
  • Buffalo Bills: +900

These teams are all in the conversation for the Super Bowl, but the Bills and 49ers have the most question marks. San Francisco’s quarterback spot is the main concern while the Bills have a much tougher division in 2023.

Dark Horses

  • New York Jets: +1800
  • Baltimore Ravens: +2000
  • Jacksonville Jaguars: +2500
  • Miami Dolphins: +2500
  • Los Angeles Chargers: +2500

All of these teams have solid quarterback play and should be in the playoff mix. If they pop, they have great value with almost every one of them at 20/1.

Overrated Super Bowl threats

  • Detroit Lions: +2200
  • Dallas Cowboys: +1400
  • Seattle Seahawks: +3500

The Lions are getting way too much love, even in a bad division.

Kirk Cousins tier

  • Minnesota Vikings: +3500

Could take a step forward, but how much?

  • Denver Broncos: +4500
  • Cleveland Browns: +4000
  • New Orleans Saints: +4000
  • Las Vegas Raiders: +6500
  • Los Angeles Rams: +6500

Russell Wilson, Deshaun Watson, Derek Carr, Jimmy Garoppolo and Matthew Stafford. They all seem good enough, but none of them were in 2022.

Mike Tomlin tier

  • Pittsburgh Steelers: +5000

Mike Tomlin’s team will be 9-8 or better. Just how much better than that is the question.

Quarterback questions

  • New England Patriots: +6500
  • New York Giants: +6500
  • Chicago Bears: +6000
  • Tennessee Titans: +8000

These teams will need their quarterbacks to play above their expectations to win a Super Bowl.

Longshot Super Bowl bets

  • Atlanta Falcons: +6000
  • Carolina Panthers: +7000
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers: +8000
  • Washington Commanders: +6500
  • Indianapolis Colts: +10000
  • Arizona Cardinals: +20000
  • Houston Texans: +20000

These teams are mainly in rebuilds, so it’s going to take a massive step forward to contend for a Super Bowl.
