T.J. Watt had the best season of his career last year. He led the league in sacks, led the league in tackles for losses and made the All-Pro team. T.J. is following in the footsteps of his older brother, J.J. Watt, and is becoming one of the most dominant forces in football.

T.J. was recognized by his peers as the fifth-best player in the NFL on the new “NFL Top 100” list. Just as the rest of the league sees how good he is, so do the oddsmakers.

WynnBET has set Watt’s odds to win the sack title again at +800. He sits behind Aaron Donald and Myles Garrett, whose odds are +750. Watt winning the sack title again would do a lot of things. It would tie him with his brother for most sack titles in the family, put him on a shortlist of players who’ve won multiple sack titles and it would be the first time a player won the sack title in consecutive years since Reggie White in 1987 and 1988.

Watt has a great advantage over the two players above him in that he has the best pass rush (sack-wise) available to him. The Pittsburgh Steelers led the league in sacks per game in 2020 with 3.3. Donald and the Los Angeles Rams were close with 3.2 sacks per game, but Donald sees double and triple teams consistently -- leaving the door open for his teammates to finish the job.

Garrett and the Cleveland Browns were 16th in the league at 2.2 sacks per game. Garrett is tasked with a majority of the sack responsibilities, making his job the hardest of the three.

Watt is going to have another great season and the strength of the Steelers will certainly help him. At +800, betting on him to make history isn’t a bad idea, and actually makes sense.
