TCU vs. Oklahoma Prediction, Odds and Spread for College Football Week 7
By Thomas Snodgrass
The TCU Horned Frogs defeated their in-state rival Texas Tech last week, 52-31. TCU ran all over Texas Tech’s defense, collecting 396 total rushing yards, with running back Kendre Miller leading the way with 185 rushing yards and three touchdowns.
The No. 6 Oklahoma Sooners were down 28-7 in the first quarter to the Texas Longhorns, only to come all the way back to pick up the win in the Red River Rivalry.
Sooners’ quarterback Spencer Rattler completed just 9-of-16 passes for 112 yards and an interception before he was benched for Freshman QB Caleb Williams. Williams looked great in relief, completing 15-of-24 passes for 211 yards and two touchdowns and rushing for 88 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Running back Kennedy Brooks also helped boost Oklahoma’s offense, rushing for 217 yards and two touchdowns.

TCU vs. Oklahoma Prediction
Oklahoma’s rushing defense has allowed just 87.5 rushing yards per game which could hurt the TCU rushing offense that’s averaging 236.4 rushing yards per game.
Both of these clubs have spotty passing defenses, so this could be a good game for whoever is under center for the Sooners and Max Duggan of the Horned Frogs. But running back Kennedy Brooks of Oklahoma could be in for another big game against TCU’s porous rushing defense (206 rushing yards allowed per game).
The Horned Frogs defense will struggle to keep this Sooners offense in check, so I’ll take Oklahoma on the spread at -11.
